1. Expository Writing  is where the writing serves to explain , inform

2. Descriptive Writing  is  writing that serves to and show  describe 

3. Narrative Writing  is Tells a story

4. Persuasive Writing is arguing for or against an issue 

5. Creative Writing interestingly, creative writing is a vague term, but it  includes (while isn't limited to) fiction (across the genres), poetry, drama, screenwriting, autobiographies and more.
